QuickShare exists because copy-pasting between devices should not require an account, an app install, or a subscription.
How many times have you needed to get a snippet of text from your laptop to your phone? You email it to yourself. You drop it in a group chat. You open some notes app that takes thirty seconds to sync. It's frustrating, and it's a solved problem โ we just solved it badly.
QuickShare takes a different approach: your IP address is your identity. Open the editor on any device sharing the same IP, and your text is already there. No account, no handoff, no friction.
The fastest path between your thought and synced text. Every interaction is instant.
Free, forever. No premium tiers, no upsells, no "upgrade to access this feature."
Everything expires after 7 days. We don't hoard your data; we delete it on schedule.
QuickShare does one job: sync text. No document management, no collaboration bloat.
When you open QuickShare, the app fetches your public IP address and uses it as a key to read and write to a real-time cloud database. Any browser session sharing that IP instantly sees the same document.
Text is saved automatically 1 second after you stop typing. A green indicator in the status bar confirms a successful sync. If you're on a mobile network, your IP may differ from your home or office โ in that case, simply open the link on the same network for syncing to work.
All content is automatically purged 7 days after the last save โ no manual cleanup needed, and no stale data left behind.
QuickShare is a small, independent project. If you have a bug to report, a feature idea, or just want to say hello โ reach out via the contact page. Every message is read.
